This Division is responsible for delivery of farm extension and sustainable resource programs and services for the Department.

Agriculture Information Services
WHAT WE DO
Agriculture Information Officers offer on-farm visitation in the areas of crop and livestock management, environmental sustainability, financial management and human resources. Staff at the Agriculture Information Centre provide clients with a first point-of-contact for accurate and timely information on a wide variety of aspects of commercial agriculture.

Sustainable Agriculture Resources
WHAT WE DO
The Sustainable Agriculture Section provides technical assistance to soil conservation and integrated pest management, and encourages more sustainable farm operations. The Agriculture and Environmental Resource Conservation program provides technical and financial assistance for a wide range of on-farm conservation projects to help achieve compliance with environmental protection legislation.
