PARO Collections Database NEW!
The PARO Collections Database contains thousands of records from the Public Archives’ vast range of sources, such as vital statistics records (including the former P.E.I. Baptismal Index), census records, and material from our archival collections, including photographs, maps, architectural plans, and textual records. Where available, digitized copies of the original documents have been linked in the database. New records will be added regularly, so please check back often. For more information about records found in the PARO Collections Database, please click here.
Users can search many of our finding aids through Archives PEI, a database of archival descriptions from institutions across Prince Edward Island. Archives PEI is maintained by the Archives Council of Prince Edward Island.
Island Imagined is a collection of digitized historic Prince Edward Island maps. It includes maps from the Public Archives, the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation, and Robertson Library (University of Prince Edward Island).
