Eating healthy foods promotes healthy weights.  Many diseases and conditions that affect our quality of life may be avoided by choosing healthy foods. Many factors influence the foods we eat. These include cost, availability, advertising, and knowing what foods are healthy.

Choosing to be physically active can be as easy as putting on a pair of shoes, some comfortable clothing and heading out for a walk.  It can be done as an individual, as a family or with friends.
