The 911 Administration Office is responsible for the on-going operation of the PEI 911 Call Answer - Transfer Service. In conjunction with Taxation & Property Records, the 911 Administration Office plays a key role in the maintenance of the Province's Civic Addressing System, inluding controlling the naming of public and private roads on the Island.
To provide the Province of Prince Edward Island with an emergency management system for the protection of persons, property and the environment in response to all emergencies and disasters.
The office of the Provincial Fire Marshal is responsible for the promotion of fire prevention measures in the Province and extends to training for volunteer fire fighters as well as institutional and municipal officials.
