The Community and Labour Development Division works in conjunction with economic development partners to facilitate the development of the rural areas of the Prince Edward Island economy. The Division accomplishes this through the management and delivery of programs and services in support of small business, entrepreneurship, craft development, employment development, and community economic development. The Division also participates in related departmental policy and planning initiatives to fulfil this role.
