Miscellaneous: 

  • All grade 9’s please talk to your parents about joining the semi committee; refer to your homeroom teachers on Monday. Homeroom teachers please make a list of these parents.
  • It is time for the Birchwood Cell Phone Challenge. We are asking any students or parents to bring in old or used phones. Birchwood has been a national winner for the past 4 years in a row. The top class will receive a pizza party. Mrs. MacAdam’s class is leading the charge for the pizza party.
  • Happy Birthday to Shreejana today!! From: Haia, Emma, Amina, Anamika, Elisha, Urmilla and all of your classmates and teachers here at Birchwood!!!

  • Good luck to all Birchwood wrestlers as they compete in the provincials today in Montague. Birchwood Wrestling team members are: Barydon Bjur, Justin Gallant, Jessica Dwyer, Jacob MacNeill, Elisha Gurung, Mikey Perry, & Angeilique Nichols.
  • Anyone interested in playing flag football see Mr. MacVicar. Tryouts start next week.

Miscellaneous: 

  • There will be a cake auction on today with all proceeds going to Easter Seals. Please feel free to donate a cake to be auctioned off for this great charity event.
  • It is time for the Birchwood Cell Phone Challenge. We are asking any students or parents to bring in old or used phones. Birchwood has been a national winner for the past 4 years in a row. The top class will receive a pizza party. Mrs. MacAdam’s class is leading the charge for the pizza party.

Thursday, April 20, 2017 – Day 1

There will be an Late French Immersion Info meeting tonight, Thursday, April 20th, at 7:00. This meeting is for all parents of grade 6 students who will be attending Birchwood’s Late French Immersion program next year for grade 7.
