Flu Immunization

Health PEI wants to see as many students as possible immunized against Influenza and has asked that we share this information with our school community.
“National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommends that everyone over the age of 6 months be immunized against influenza, especially those at high risk of complications of influenza and those who care for them including health care workers.
Vaccination is the safest, longest-lasting and most effective way to prevent influenza and to minimize complications of influenza.”
Of particular interest for the Summerside area school children are walk-in clinics on:
Saturday, November 28th at the Trinity United Church, corner of Spring and Winter Streets: 9am to 4pm
Friday, December 4th at the Trinity United Church, corner of Spring and Winter Streets: 9am to 4pm

There are evening clinics on:
November 12th and December 17th from 11:30am to 7:30pm, by appointment.
