Bluefield Senior High School – Students from Bluefield High School spent a day this week working with approximately 800 elementary and junior high school students as part of the ‘Hour of Code’ initiative.

The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. Students who took part this week joined tens of millions of students in over 180 countries in the largest learning event in history. Bluefield students organized Hour of Code events at Gulf Shore, Central Queens, Englewood, Eliot River and East Wiltshire Schools in celebration of Computer Science Education week.
