Band:
A huge congratulations and thank you is extended to all of the students who participated in the Christmas concert last evening!  It was a wonderful evening of music, and a great demonstration of the talent and dedication of our music students.  Thank you to the staff members who attended and offered their assistance as well.
All extra-curricular band activities are now finished until after the Christmas holidays.
There will be a short honours band meeting today during reading period.
Thank you

Coding:
What is coding? Coding is what makes it possible for us to create computer software, apps and websites. Your browser, your OS, the apps on your phone, Facebook, and this website – they’re all made with code.
Students are encouraged to participate in one hour of coding. There are very easy to use resources now on our website. Check the top menu for a link called Hour of Code where you can find coding activities for Star Wars, Minecraft, Frozen, and more
Coding is very straight-forward via these resources. Every student in the school, no matter their computer level, can do these activities with no teaching.

 Fundraising for Needy Families:
Kamden MacLeod, 7F, is engaging in the Christmas spirit. Over the next few weeks here at Stonepark’s Wellness Room, Kamden will be running on the treadmill during the morning breaks and again at lunchtime. He is seeking donations of either money or toys, and all the proceeds will go to help needy families in our school. A table will be set up in the lobby for people to make their donations. Kamden hopes to raise $500 through his efforts, so let’s do what we can to support him.

2015-2016 Yearbook Sales :

Top rebounders were Julia Freeburn and Brynn Essery. The girls practice today right after the Boys’ game and then play at East Wiltshire at 4pm on Thursday. Good job girls!
