Bricks for Kidz

Register Now for Bricks 4 Kidz After-School Classes

Bricks 4 Kidz is pleased to announce we will be offering after-school classes at West Royalty Elementary School. Classes follow the Bricks 4 Kidz® motto:

We Learn, We Build, We Play with… LEGO® Bricks.

When: Tuesdays from September 20 to October 25

Time: 2:35-3:35pm

Who: Students in Grades 1-6; Minimum of 10; Maximum of 20 students

Cost: $75/student (tax included) for the six week session

This is a hands on after school enrichment class where students design and build educational models including motorized machines. Each session has a theme with 2 levels of builds for grades 1-3 and advanced builds for grades 4-6.  Problem solving & critical thinking skills are developed while creativity and self-confidence are encouraged. Math & science are applied to real world situations while architecture and engineering concepts are explored. Our fun-filled model plans reinforce S.T.E.M. based principles using LEGO® Bricks.  Kids are motivated and retain more of what they learn when lessons are related to something they enjoy, like LEGO® Bricks!

At the end of the six week session, kids will get to take home their own custom-built mini-figure they created from our mini-figure factory.

We will also be looking for a parent volunteer to assist with the classes. In exchange, the parent volunteer will have the registration fee waived for their child. Parent volunteers must have a completed criminal background check and be permitted to work in the schools.
