Illegal Dumping Complaint

Process to File a Complaint

To file a complaint against illegal dumping, contact the Department of Environment, Labour and Justice at 368-5024.
A department representative will carry out a site inspection to determine if there is a violation under the Unsightly Properties Act.

If there is a violation, the department will advise the property owner of the issue and request a resolution to the violation of the Act. If the problem is not resolved under this procedure, further action will be taken under the Act.
