Pesticide Applicator Exams
If your Pesticide Applicator Certificate has expired or will expire before the 2007 pesticide use season, you may receive your re-certification by writing the exam over the winter. An individual seeking first-time certification or re-certification must receive a mark of not less than 75% on their written exam. A five-year Pesticide Applicator Certificate will be issued to the successful individuals.
You must pre-register at least one week prior to the exam date by calling the Department of Environment, Labour and Justice at (902) 368-5474. As in past years, a photo ID is required at the time of examination.
A self-study training manual is available for individuals wishing to prepare for a pesticide appplicator certification exam. The Agriculture Training Manual is available online in PDF format.
