Pre-Budget Consultations 2016
The government of Prince Edward Island is working to balance the provincial budget in 2016-17. Why are we doing this? Because it demonstrates the fiscal responsibility and accountability that Islanders expect from this government.
Background on budget
To achieve this goal, difficult decisions will have to be made: How can we increase revenue and grow our economy? What government programs and services should be reduced or expanded? Should taxes be lowered, and what should be cut to make-up the resulting revenue shortfall?
