Red Cross raises $34,000 from liquor commission partnership

PEI Liquor outlets recognized for accessibility
Minister Allen Roach receives the 2015 Accessibility Award on behalf of the Liquor Control Commission from Lacey MacIsaac, Access Advisor program coordinator.
Access Advisor evaluated PEI Liquor retail locations Island-wide and found that all 20 stores were either partially or fully accessible. Accessibility can mean wheelchair ramps are present, doors have levers for handles and the tension on opening and closing is lowered, hand rails are installed, and assistance is available if needed.
