Some of the most at risk groups are seniors, children under two, pregnant women, health and child care workers,and people with chronic health conditions.

As the flu season approaches health professionals are encouraging Islanders to get their flu shot. Vaccine clinics are being set up around the province through physicians' offices and family health centres.

The temporary hold on Fluad and Agriflu Vaccine has been lifted. Immunization for influenza in Prince Edward Island will immediately resume its normally scheduling. - October 31, 2012
