ISLAND FOCUS originally began in 1995 as Focus on Resources, a half hour community cable program featuring news and information related to agriculture, fisheries and forestry. In the past, the program has featured the latest news and information on agriculture, fisheries, small business, tourism, festivals and events, aquaculture, forestry, the environment and the Knowledge Economy Partnership. The final broadcast of Island Focus aired May 3, 2004 on EastLink Television. Selected Episodes of Focus on Resources and Island Focus are available for purchase in VHS video format. Copies are also available from PEI public libraries and can be reserved and ordered online at www.library.pe.ca using an online java application called Abby Cat.
