The Forests, Fish and Wildlife Division, in cooperation with different partners, offers workshops, presentations and field trips related to forest management, hunting, trapping, forest ecology, wildlife habitat, angling and many other subjects.
As information on new courses and workshops becomes available, it will be posted here. Interested groups and organizations that wish to promote events on this web site can send a request to the Information Officer, Forests, Fish and Wildlife Division. These events and workshops must support the goals and policies of the division and of the Government of Prince Edward Island.
Forested Bufferzones and Biodiveristy Workshop - Saturday, October 18, 2014
On Saturday, October 18, 2014, the Southeast Environment Association and the PEI Woodlot Owner's
Association are teaming up to deliver a one day workshop for interested land owners, woodlot owners, and the general public. The workshop has been developed to help participants learn about creating healthy Acadian forests in watercourse bufferzones.
