2002 Survey of PEI Woodlot Owners Report

In 2002, some 2000 Island forest owners were surveyed by the University of New Brunswick, in cooperation with the P.E.I. Dept. of Agriculture and Forestry and the Canadian Forest Service, to determine their beliefs, attitudes and motivation for owning, harvesting, and/or managing their forest lands. Approximately 1200 people replied and their responses are outlined in this report.
