Funding up to $4,000
An applicant participating in skills development and training is eligible for assistance up to $4,000. Training is available to either the applicant or to a farming partner(s). Examples of training include workshops, one-on-one skills development with a consultant, working with a farm advisory team or mentor. Refer to the training application form for eligible expense details.
All training:
- must be farm related
- is eligible for 75% reimbursement
- can not exceed $2,000 per training event.
Reimbursements greater than $500 per training event requires that a short report be submitted with the claim form. The report must identify the training received, skills developed, and benefits to the farming operation.
