Tool Kit

There is a “Tool Kit for Responsible Tobacco Relailers” which can be accessed online.  The kit was developed by Health Canada and the four Atlantic provinces to help retailers prevent tobacco sales to people under 19 years of age.  

The information can be used to:

  1. Develop policies and procedures for tobacco sales in your store;
  2. Train all staff, including managers, supervisors, and clerks’
  3. Monitor employees to ensure they are following your store policies and procedures.
