Kohlrabi and Carrot Salad with Orange and Cumin

¼ cup (50 mL)      orange juice

1 tbsp (15 mL)      fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp (15 mL)      olive oil

½ tsp (2 mL)         ground cumin

¼ tsp (1 mL)         granulated sugar

                             salt and ground black pepper

1 cup (250 mL)     grated kohlrabi

1 cup (250 mL)     grated carrot

1 tbsp (15 mL)      roasted shelled sunflower seeds

 

In a salad bowl, whisk together orange juice, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir in kohlrabi, carrot and sunflower seeds.
