What happens if I get pulled over by the police before I have my new stickers?

In fact, once you complete your online application and payment the Motor Vehicle Registration database is updated in real time to reflect your renewal. This database is shared with police authorities. Using this online database, an officer on patrol can see that your renewal is valid even if your sticker is not.

What happens if the information I supply does not match Motor Vehicle Registration records?

Review the information you entered to ensure no errors were made. Make any necessary corrections and try your online application again.

Are there other ways to renew my MVR?

You can renew your vehicle registration by mail or in-person at an Access PEI location.

What if my address has changed?

If your mailing address has changed, do not renew your vehicle registration online. Instead, visit your nearest Access PEI location.
