How will you pay for your education?

If you have been wondering how you will pay for your post-secondary education you should be aware of all of your options.

There are a number of different sources that you may be able to use to get the money you need for your education. PEI Student Financial Services may be able to help you reach your educational goals after you have considered all of the other sources of funding.

Some of these other options may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Existing funds/personal savings
  • Family contributions
  • Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP)
  • Jobs – full/part-time work
  • Bursaries and scholarships
  • Co-op Programs
  • Bank loans
  • Employment Insurance benefits and/or training allowances
  • Pension benefits (including Canada Pension and superannuation)
  • Assets/investments (stocks, bonds, GICs, RRSPs, etc.)
