It is essential that learning opportunities be available in workplaces in Prince Edward Island to ensure the workforce is positioned to face the challenges and opportunities of global markets and new technologies.

The Department of Innovation and Advanced Learning sees workplace education as a vital piece in the continuum of learning for adult Islanders.

Workplace Learning PEI Inc. is a partnership of business, labour and government. Its goal to ensure the availability of workplace literacy/numeracy programs that provide a foundation for further skills training.
