Eligibility
To register as a youth apprentice you must be:
- 16 years of age or older;
- enrolled in school; and
- employed full or part-time in a designated trade.
Students registered for Co-Op placements in a designated trade may apply, however if accepted, will be placed on probationary status until paid employment is obtained.
If you wish to become involved in ASAP, but have not found suitable employment, look for ASAP summer job postings at your local high school or on the student job-line at HRSDC.
