On-the-Job-Training
The majority of youth apprenticeship training takes place on the job. Youth apprentices work under a skilled trades professional who teaches them the skills of a particular trade. Once skills have been mastered, they are signed off in the youth apprentices' log book.
High School Courses
Students enrolled in high school trade courses, are eligible to apply for apprenticeship credit hours. Upon successful completion of these courses, students can receive up to 400 hours towards a post-secondary Apprenticeship Training Program.
