Apprenticeship Applications
Apprenticeship is a training program that combines on-the-job training under the direct supervision of a journeyman/woman, with periods of in-school technical training. A person who is enrolled in the program is called an apprentice. Employers who wish to hire and train an apprentice are required to register their apprentice with the Province. The Apprenticeship and Trades Qualification Act governs the requirements regarding the training of apprentices.
The Apprenticeship and Trades Qualification Act is online as a PDF document.
