Innovation PEI is focused on advancing economic development in Prince Edward Island by investing in people, innovation, and infrastructure. Through the Island Prosperity Strategy, we are targeting key sectors that have displayed a high potential for economic growth within the Province. These sectors include bioscience (including agriculture and fisheries), information technology, renewable energy and aerospace. The Strategic Initiatives & Properties division is responsible for strategic initiatives and management of all assets held by Innovation PEI including all properties, PEI BioCommons Research Park, Atlantic Technology Centre, business parks, and corporate offices at 94 Euston Street.

Prospecting & Innovation Programs
WHAT WE DO
The Prospecting & Innovation Programs division is responsible for attracting out of province business investment to Prince Edward Island and managing innovation programs focused on strengthing the strategic sectors of bioscience, information technology, aerospace and renewable energy.

Business Development
WHAT WE DO
The Business Development division is responsible for the coordination and delivery of information, assistance, and support programs to businesses in Prince Edward Island. The divsion provides a full range of business counseling and programs to support the long term viability of Prince Edward Island businesses.

Lending Services
WHAT WE DO
The Lending Services division sources, manages and supplies financial capuital in support of sound, strategic business opportunities while balancing financial risk with the economic return to the Province. As a developmental leader, the group works collaboratively with traditional financial institutions and other government agencies in a non-formula approach using a wide array of financial instruments.
