Accountability
Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population is committed to the principles of open and accountable management for the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program. This is enhanced by regular reporting to the Legislative Assembly and the public on measurable results and accomplishments via submission of our Annual Reports.
Under these principles of accountability, Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population will provide reporting on resource allocations, obligations and on results relevant to Immigration goals and priorities of the Government of Prince Edward Island.
In an effort to improve transparency all program policy changes will be published externally via the PEI PNP website. Program and policy changes directly affecting clients and stakeholders will also be communicated through direct communication.
Oversight for Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population itself occurs under the direction of the Island Investment Development Incorporated (IIDI) Board of Directors. All program, policy or operational changes to Immigration Services and its programs within, require board approval.
