Why use a government agency for my international Human Resources needs?
- Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population has the ability to not only identify pools of labour talent, but also the ability to nominate and advance applications through the maze of Immigration regulation.
- Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population has access to the most current government policy changes in immigration acts, rules and regulations at the Provincial and Federal level.
- Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population will lead international recruitment missions to strategic countries of interest after close consultation with industry and the identification of need.
- Also in support of our recruiting efforts, is access to our network of government recognized Island Agents who have the ability to tap into specialized labour pools through an array of overseas agents.
- Our most valuable asset is the commitment of our staff to help Prince Edward Island employers realize the benefits of immigration and families to reunite and contribute economically to the betterment of the Province.
Temporary Foreign Workers
- Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population will also assist Prince Edward Island businesses to provide advice on the process necessary to obtain Temporary Foreign Workers to meet immediate labour shortages.
- Information on where to obtain a Labour Market Opinion (LMO), requirements for housing, health care, basic standards etc. can all be obtained through consultations with our lead recruitment officer.
