Immigration Services International Recruitment Unit

Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population is the lead government agency for private sector recruitment via the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) for Prince Edward Island.
Under the Labour Impact Category of the PNP, Immigration Services has the ability to nominate workers for Prince Edward Island employers.
Within the Labour Impact Category are two employment related streams called Skilled Worker, and Critical Worker each with a targeted focus in support of labour for Prince Edward Island employers.
Upon nomination, final approval is obtained through Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

Temporary Foreign Workers

Office of Immigration, Settlement and Population will also assist Prince Edward Island businesses to provide advice on the process necessary to obtain Temporary Foreign Workers to meet immediate labour shortages.
Information on where to obtain a Labour Market Opinion (LMO), requirements for housing, health care, basic standards etc. can all be obtained through consultations with our lead recruitment officer.
