Airport: The Stratford Business Park is located 8.5 km (5.25 miles) from the
Charlottetown Airport. The Charlottetown Airport is serviced by Air Canada, Air Nova,
Prince Edward Air and Royal Airlines. These offer up to 13 daily passenger and cargo
return flights arriving from Halifax International Airport in Nova Scotia. Flights between
Halifax and Charlottetown take 35 minutes. Air Canada also offers daily non-stop flights
to and from Toronto and Montreal. In addition, in the summer months, there are often
weekly charter flights connecting Charlottetown and Toronto. There are two runways,
three taxiways and two parking aprons which cover an area of approximately 66 acres.
Runway 03 is 7,000 ft long and 150 ft wide, and runway 10 is 5,000 ft long and 200 ft
wide. The Charlottetown Airport offers the following services:
Fuel: 100 LL, Jet A-1, de-icing, lighting on runways and taxiways, flight plan services,
FSS, NDB, VOR/DME.

Roads: The Trans-Canada Highway leads from the City of Charlottetown. To the east it
connects to the Wood Islands Ferry Terminal to Nova Scotia, and to the west with the
Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick. Busses leave and arrive daily with connections
to the rail system on the mainland. PEI is serviced by SMT (Eastern) 7 days a week with
connections on the mainland to most major centres in Canada and to the United States.

Park Access: The existing road system servicing the park consists of the Mason Road which bisects the park and meets the Trans-Canada Highway at a T' intersection. The Trans-Canada Highway borders the park to the south and an 84 metre access road has been constructed to lead into the business park area from the Mason Road.
Water: The Charlottetown Port is located on the west bank of the Hillsborough River, and is 5.6 km (3.5 miles) away from the Business Park. It is administered by the Canadian Coast Guard, Harbours and Ports Directorate. Icebreaker support is available in winter. Services include: fresh water, supplies, minor repairs, fuel by truck, stevedoring, port of entry, port manager, sewage disposal. Pilotage is not compulsory but is available. The approach channel is restricted to a depth of 10 metres, with no width restrictions. There are 3 berthage sections measuring (length by depth):
- 170 m length by 7 to 10 m depth
- 183 m length by 7 to 10 m depth
- 72 m length by 10 m depth
Bridge: The 12.9 km (9 mile) Confederation Bridge joins Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island and Cape Jourimain, New Brunswick and is the longest bridge over ice covered waters in the world. The Bridge is privately maintained, managed and operated by Strait Crossing Ltd. and it's subsidiary company Strait Crossing Bridge Ltd. Opened on May 31 1997, the bridge is 11 m wide and carries two lanes of traffic each 3.75 m wide, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The normal travelling speed is 80 km/h and it takes approximately 10 minutes to cross the Bridge. Vehicles carrying Dangerous Goods and Special Loads are required to report to the Bridge Control Centre to receive crossing information. A round trip Bridge toll is paid on exiting Prince Edward Island.
Services available on the Bridge include, full video surveillance, emergency call boxes, fire extinguishing, emergency alarm system, emergency response system. There is also a free shuttle service for people who are travelling on foot or by bicycle.
