The Culinary Institute of Canada has been training aspiring chefs since 1983 and is regarded by many as the premiere culinary school in Canada. Since openings its doors in 1983 with its first class of 6 students, The Culinary Institute of Canada has graduated over 750 chefs who can now be found working in locations all over the world. In 1995 The Culinary Institute of Canada teamed up with the College’s tourism and hospitality programs to create an international tourism, hospitality and culinary school. This Tourism and Culinary Centre is a state of-the-art facility on the Charlottetown waterfront. Students are drawn from around the world to the Centre where they have the opportunity to enjoy the unique cultural experience of Prince Edward Island and Atlantic Canada while at the same time developing the necessary skills to launch their culinary, tourism and hospitality careers.
