Laws of Prince Edward Island

Some laws of Prince Edward Island include:

  • It is illegal to smoke in a public place, workplace or in a vehicle with children or youth under the ages of 19 present.
  • You must be 19 years of age to purchase, consume or possess alcohol or cigarettes.
  • Drinking and driving is illegal, regardless of age.
  • The consumption or possession of drugs, that are not purchased at a pharmacy or prescribed by a doctor is illegal.
