Old Home Week
Running August 9-18, Old Home Week is Prince Edward Island's family fun fair. An Island tradition since 1888, Old Home Week is an annual summertime rite of passage that has something for everyone, including:
- Agricultural exhibits
- Culinary demonstrations
- Animal displays
- Children's shows
- Arts and crafts
- Midway rides and games
- Music PEI Best of Island Showcase
- The famous Gold Cup and Saucer Parade
- Nine days of harness racing, culminating in the 53rd running of the Gold Cup and Saucer Race
