Prince Edward Home
The Prince Edward Home, a 128 bed health care facility, provides care under five main categories:- Palliative Care;
- Convalescent/Restorative Care;
- Respite Care;
- Long-Term Nursing Home Care for residents of the Province over the age of 60 who do not require acute general hospital care; and
- Long-Term Medical Nursing Care for residents of the Province under the age of 60 and who suffer from chronic disabilities.
Additionally, the facility offers a Day Program for Seniors (Brecken House) designed to promote physical and psychological well-being of seniors living active lifestyles in their communities. The facility also offers a Meals-On-Wheels program to citizens of the greater Charlottetown area.
