Dalvay By The Sea
Built between 1896 and 1899 by Alexander MacDonald of Cincinnati, Dalvay-By-The-Sea is a fine example of a summer house in Queen Anne Revival style. This style was favoured for Canadian domestic architecture in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Location
Stanhope(Dalvay by the Sea is located approximately 25 minutes North East of Charlottetown inside Prince Edward Island National Park on Dalvay Beach. Our Tourism listing in the PEI Visitors Guide is in the green "Anne's Land" section under Grand Tracadie, Visitors will arrive generally by three methods: Air transport, (at Charlottetown Airport; rental car facilities/ taxi services are available.), or by driving from either the Confederation Bridge at Borden-Carleton or the Wood Island Ferry Terminal.)
