Provincial Records
Where can I get provincial records? Records of the Government of Prince Edward Island, deemed to have historical significance are transferred to the care and custody of the Public Archives and Records Office when their administrative function has been been fulfilled. These are available for research provided there is no infringement of personal privacy. Examples of such records include early land records and maps, court records, vital statistics records prior to 1906, and records of various government departments and agencies.
