What does the Director of Residential Rental Property do?
The director, or delegrated officer, is primarily responsible for dealing with disputes between landlords and tenants. Matters before the director include issues relating to a rental agreement, such as:
- good behaviour
- condition of the premises
- subletting
- entry of property
- quiet enjoyment
- delivery of possession
- mobile homes
- rent owing
- security deposits
- rent increases
- termination of a lease agreement
