Eptek Art and Culture Centre
Eptek Art & Culture Centre offers a diverse array of exhibits and programs featuring themes dedicated to history, science and the fine arts. In the winter months, Eptek Centre is the home of a permanent collection of paintings by the late Island artist, Dr. Georgie Read Barton. Nestled in the heart of the dynamic Waterfront Properties in Summerside, Eptek Centre derives its name from the mi'kmaq word for "warm spot". Dedicated to using its high standard exhibition space to promote interest in our cultural heritage, Eptek hosts national, local and in-house exhibits and displays. Together, these exhibitions provide glimpses into a rich culture that Islanders and visitors alike are sure to find rewarding.
