Beaconsfield Historic House
One of the Island's finest residences, built in 1877 for James Peake Jr., a shipbuilder and merchant, Beaconsfield was an expression of his wealth and social position. Experience the lovely gardens and the view of Charlottetown Harbour. Restored to the early 20th century, the site offers a program of house tours and lectures, and special events in the Carriage House. Headquarters of the PEI Museum.
