Environmental Farm Plan Maps

The Resource Inventory and Modelling Section is responsible for the production of Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) maps to any farmers/clients participating in Environmental Farm Planning Workshops. These workshops are delivered by the Environmental Farm Plan Coordinating Committee and the PEI Federation of Agriculture in conjunction with the the PEI Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, Aquaculture and Forestry. Farmers submit property numbers for review under the EFP process and two property maps are generated - one with soil information on the property in question and the second one with contour and elevation information. These maps are an integral part of the farm planning and review process.
