Scouts Canada - PEI Council

Mission
To contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society. There are currently 20 groups on PEI.

Beavers

Beavers program is opened to boys/girls aged 5 - 7 years.

  • Fun
  • Excitement
  • Outdoor activities
  • Visits to parks
  • Historic sites
Sharing and learning are all part of the positive group experience for young children.

Wolf Cubs

This program is opened to boys/girls ages 8-10 who work together, developing skill, exploring their community, having fun and adventures. It's all part of the Scouts Canada program that channels all that energy, with adult guidance, into working, growing and playing together.

Scouts

This program is opened to boys/girls ages 11-14. Youth ages 11-14 love the outdoors:

  • Hiking
  • Touring
  • Camping
  • Canoeing
In a scout troop, these active youth learn new skills, plan activities, and get involved in community projects. It's a whole learning experience that helps them become the person of good character and responsible citizens of the community. This year let your child share these experiences.

Venturers

This program is open to male/female youth ages 14 - 17 years. Venturers is challenging and action oriented:

  • Canoeing in the wilderness
  • Hiking in the Rockies
  • Camping on Baffin Island
Venturers work together as a company, with an adult supervisor, learning to handle their own activities and affairs as responsible adults.

Rovers

This program is open to males/females between the ages of 18 - 26. Enjoy thrilling outdoor experiences from:

  • Car rallies
  • Scuba diving
  • Planning and operating their own activities with an adult supervisor.
Accept the challenge, excitement, and sharing responsibility as a Rover.
