Cape Bear Lighthouse
Built in 1881.
On Route 18, the King's Byway, get to Cape Bear. At a sharp bend in the paved road continue straight ahead, then turn off on to another paved road (a sign is located at the entrance to the lighthouse), go down to the second lane on the right. You'll find the lighthouse in the woods. There is a high bank here. Please keep a safe distance back.
