Northport Lighthouse
Built in 1885.Make your way to Alberton, located on Lady Slipper Drive, Route 12. From there look for directions to Northport Harbour. As you look seaward, you will see two lighthouses on the dune system. The one that looks more like a lighthouse was formerly the lighthouse. The new one, now the official lighthouse, is a steel tower with an enclosed centre portion, painted in red and white bands. The old one is now privately owned. The only way you will get a closer view is to hire a boat at the harbour, but you will not see any more than what you see from the harbour.
