Islander Day
Islander Day is the third Monday of February. It is a paid (statutory) holiday in Prince Edward Island with most workers entitled to take the day off with regular pay. Some businesses like restaurants, convenience stores and tourist attractions remain open. Islander Day was first introduced in 2009.

Sunday, February 19
Borden-Carleton
Free snowshoeing event hosted by go! PEI, Amherst Cove Consolidated School, 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Adult and youth sized snowshoes will be available. Visit gopei.ca
Monday, February 20
Brookvale Winter Activity Park
Two-for-one lift tickets and rentals from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Islanders may purchase one ticket for the trails or lifts and receive another one of equal or lesser value free. Charlottetown and Area
Preschool Skate, Sherwood Sports Centre, Sherwood, 9:30 to 10:30 am. $1 per child, $2 per adult or $4 per family
Cornwall
Free outdoor skating and sledding all day at the Terry Fox Sports Complex (weather permitting)
Family skate, APM Centre, 10:00 to 11:00 am. $1.00 for preschoolers, $1.50 per student, $2 per adult or $6 per family. Visit Town of Cornwall
Summerside

Dalvay PEI National Park
Free outdoor activities from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for the whole family including snowshoeing, cross country skiing and hiking on groomed trails. Snowshoes available for loan.

North Tryon Women's Institute Potluck and Games Night
