Casual Licensed Practical Nurse
CASUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES (UPSE)

Location:Stewart Memorial Hospital, Tyne Valley
(COMMENCING IMMEDIATELY)
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic nursing care necessary for the comfort and well-being of the patient; performs various treatment procedures; participates in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan; applies Infection Control techniques; and performs other related and allied duties which contribute to the orderly and efficient operation of the department. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs these duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Bi-Weekly Hours: rotating shifts / days, evenings, nights, weekends
Qualifications:
∙ The successful applicant will possess a valid license with the Licensed Practical Nurses Association / Registrar of Prince Edward Island and be capable of sustained physical activity.
∙ The successful applicant must have a good previous work and attendance record.
∙ The successful applicant must provide proof of an acceptable criminal record check prior to beginning employment.
Preference will be given to internal applicants.
