Casual Physiotherapist 1 - Physical Medicine

Location:Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
The primary focus of this position will be to provide physiotherapy services to patients of the QEH, with possible rotation among services (acute care, rehabilitation, and out-patient), carrying out appropriate administrative responsibilities, promoting understanding of the hospital’s physiotherapy services, and fulfilling other related professional duties in the Physical Medicine Department.
Bi-Weekly Hours: casual/on demand
Qualifications:
- The successful applicant must have graduated from a recognized Physiotherapy program and be eligible for registration with the PEI College of Physiotherapists.
- The successful applicant must have a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- The successful applicant must have a good previous work and attendance record.
- The successful applicant must provide a satisfactory criminal records check prior to beginning employment.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience as a Physiotherapist in a general hospital setting with inpatients, outpatients and rehab is an asset.
