Justice and Public Safety Ministers meet in Charlottetown

Federal provincial and territorial ministers responsible for justice and public safety met in Charlottetown on January 24-26th.

Federal, provincial, and territorial ministers responsible for justice and public safety identified many areas for future collaboration during meetings in Charlottetown. A broad range of issues were discussed including the final report of the working group on missing women; amendments to the Criminal Code; mental health, addictions and justice; policing services;and justice system reform.
