Victim Services assists victims of crime throughout their involvement in the criminal justice system.If you are a victim of crime, you may need one or more of the following services:
- information about the status of your case and the criminal justice system
- short term counselling and emotional support
- referrals
- court preparation
- help in preparing a victim impact statement
- assistance under the Victims of Family Violence Act
- financial information
- coordination of services
