The PEI Office of Public Safety includes the 911 Administration Office, Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) and the Fire Marshal's office. Collectively our goal is to ensure the safety and security of all Islanders. Through our coordinated response approach we work closely with businesses, organizations and the federal, provincial and municipal levels of government.

Whether it is responding to a civic addressing request to enable emergency responders to locate your home, providing fire investigation, prevention information and leadership support to Island Fire Departments; or emergency training, exercising, planning and coordination, we are your resource. We can give support and information to both individuals and communities to help with mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery in the event of an emergency.
